Customer Success Manager

About the Role

You’ll own the post-sale client journey: guiding onboarding, designing campaign strategies, monitoring performance, and driving adoption and expansion. Your success is measured by client outcomes — lower CAC, higher ROI, and strong renewals.

This is a remote-first role with a preference for candidates able to collaborate effectively with the Kansas City, MO timezone.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard new clients: segmentation setup, deliverability planning, and campaign strategy.
• Proactively monitor campaign performance and provide actionable optimization recommendations.
• Conduct regular business reviews and present results, insights, and growth opportunities.
• Drive product adoption and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
• Act as the voice of the customer internally — surfacing feedback to product and engineering.
• Collaborate with deliverability and compliance teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain high client satisfaction, renewal rates, and Net Promoter Scores.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or similar client-facing role (SaaS preferred).
• Experience managing B2B clients through onboarding and ongoing campaign execution.
• Strong understanding of email marketing, deliverability, and growth metrics (CAC, LTV, ROI).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills — you can simplify complex concepts.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive client decisions.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and drive renewals/expansions.
• Empathy, ownership, and a passion for client success.

Nice to Have

• Experience in marketing technology, data products, or compliance-heavy environments.
• Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Intercom, Gainsight, or similar CS platforms.
• Technical aptitude — comfortable discussing APIs, segmentation, and deliverability.
